David Stancel
Founder, Polystate
I've been in crypto since 2012 — first as a researcher, then as a builder and operator. I co-founded FUMBI, Cork — which raised from a16z crypto — and Amagi Labs, a Web3 development studio. I served as an external advisor to the National Bank of Slovakia and wrote a book on the evolution of cryptocurrencies.
Building multiple companies across jurisdictions forced me to learn regulatory arbitrage the hard way. I've been nomadic for years — Singapore, Malaysia, Paraguay, Prospera — and I'm currently a resident at Network School, founded by Balaji Srinivasan. The pattern I kept seeing: smart people optimizing one flag at a time, when the real alpha is in the stack — residency, banking, corporate structure, and tax jurisdiction working as a single system.
Polystate removes that friction. Not a relocation agency. Not a visa wiki. An operating system for sovereign individuals — where every piece of your global setup works together.
We're a small team of developers shipping tech and features fast, partnered with vetted lawyers, accountants, and immigration experts across multiple jurisdictions. You get the platform. They bring the local expertise.
We're building this in the open and your feedback shapes what comes next. Reach out to me directly on X or LinkedIn, use the in-app feedback tool, or just reply to any of our emails. I read everything. Help us build the features you want to see.
